With a good heart,
we greet you.

⊰⌖⊱ welcome

Settling Kinship began as a desire to educate ourselves on all that was purposefully kept from us, embolden the silenced voices of the oppressed, and transform society at small.

To practice kinship is to be a good relative. It's to understand that you have obligations to your relatives just as they do to you, with the ultimate goal making sure that everyone is properly taken care of.

The real lived experiences of oppressed peoples are often ignored and/or dismissed by the voices of privileged people that have the power to oppress. Stolen Voices will be the guiding praxis behind our actions.

In order to move forward in a good way, we must first understand that a lot of us are settlers on stolen land. Once we understand this, we can Settle Kinship.

Healing

Our goal is to heal ourselves by deconditioning the harm we perpetuate on marginalized people and understanding our own pain.
